WWM & FASTAF | A Futuristic Bodega
Situation
Fast AF is a platform powered by local fulfillment centers that delivers the world’s most coveted brands FASTAF. To launch FASTAF in the LA market, the brand was looking for a retail solution that built hype and articulated their value proposition without a store format that could scale to future markets. The only catch? We had 4 weeks to concept, design and launch the store.
Solution
With their platform focused on convenience, we created a futuristic bodega on the heart of Abbot Kinney. By combining familiar merchandising elements found in your neighborhood bodega with a futuristic design palette, we drew curiosity driving thousands of app sign ups throughout the 2-month store opening.
The Entrance - An intriguing welcome desk for FastAF’s concierge team to walk people through the sign up process, gaining entry to browse the products in the store. A warehouse
The Shop - Industrial shelving merchandised to mirror what users can find in the app
The Product Cages - Exclusive products with limited runs were placed in product cages.
The Lounge - A secret door transported customers to a monochromatic VIP lounge used as an Instagrammable moment and content studio to film unboxing and educational tutorials with LA tastemakers.
